Joseph Avery J.D., M.A.

Joseph Avery has founded two companies, including Princeton Gavel. His passion is legal technology, which represents the culmination of his work and educational experiences. He has a JD from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and he practiced law in Virginia, where he remains an Associate Member of the Virginia State Bar. In addition to his law degree, Joseph has degrees in economics and philosophy from NYU and a masters in psychology from Princeton, from which he will receive a PhD.
Zhe Chen, M.A.

Zhe has a strong computational background and is currently pursuing a PhD in chemical engineering at Princeton University. Zhe is a Python enthusiast and is adept at building accurate and efficient algorithms. Zhe is quick to debug and is always implementing new machine learning techniques to improve the algorithm.
Vinícius Pantoja, MSc.

From being the Chief of Innovation of a successful Brazilian company to selling a couple of start-ups, Vinicius has a wide array of business experiences and intelligence to impart on the company. Vinicius is an out of the box thinker and a business visionary who spends his time focusing on Princeton Gavel’s strategic plan.
Felicia Zhang, M.A.
COO, B.Sc. (Toronto), M.A. (Princeton)
Felicia is a Ph.D. candidate in Princeton’s Department of Psychology, where she is interested in the development of human cognition. Prior to Princeton, she completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto in Psychology. She handles myriad tasks for Princeton Gavel, including ones involving data science, design, and operations.
